Prompt 4: First Encounters

Submission by Kittee Mortis

This prompt is collecting submissions for the exhibition I LOVE FURRY at Bunker Projects. See the project page and other prompts here.

Instructions

This prompt has continued to take shape as the submissions have rolled in. Please feel free to send a message to the FAQ Page for clarification as needed!

Think of the your earliest memory of encountering furry art. Without looking up the artwork, describe it and/or draw it from memory.

For this prompt, you may choose to write or draw or combine both writing and drawing into a single submission.

If writing, you may copy and paste your text into the submission form field below or scan a page of handwriting.

If drawing, I encourage you to use traditional media and limit yourself to a single drawing implement —a pen, a pencil or a crayon for example, and on plain paper. This prompt is about what we remember of the experience, not about getting all the details right. Non-artists are encouraged to submit!

Tips

  • Think about the earliest vivid memory you can grab onto. It’s not about being the first memory so much as the first strong memory.

  • It’s okay if you’ve looked the image up in the past, just don’t reference it while working on your submission.

  • SFW to NSFW ratings allowed!
