A Collective Exhibition of Furry Ephemera

I LOVE FURRY is an art show organized by Tommy Bruce exhibited at Bunker Projects in Pittsburgh, PA from June 5th-July 18th 2026. The exhibition consists of collections of images, texts, and videos gathered from the furry community via submission to prompts exploring different aspects of furry experience. See the list of open prompts below. Submission is open to anyone who identifies as a furry.

PROMPTS

Each prompt is open to submissions from anyone identifying as a furry. I encourage participants to pick and choose which prompts feel most resonant and relevant to their experience of furry, rather than to submit for every single prompt. Each prompt links to a page containing a specific prompt guidelines, an individual submission form and examples. Prompts may become active or inactive as submissions flow in. Each prompt status [OPEN/CLOSED] is indicated below.

See the Process and Disclaimer section for more information about the submission process.

Concept

I LOVE FURRY was inspired by a desire to produce an artistic survey of furry experience. Drawing from social practice art projects like Learning To Love You More by Miranda July and Harrell Fletcher, I LOVE FURRY means to provide an opportunity for furries to explore and share their individual experiences of furry and contribute to a unique collective document of our community. Each prompt seeks to highlight a different aspect of being a furry, from fursuiting to drawing, gaming, looking at and commissioning art. For me, furry is about building a world together, where each participant finds a way to add depth to our collective fantasy.

Process

All works included in the exhibition will be printed by the artist (Tommy Bruce) for display in the exhibition. Consent for the reproduction of your artwork for exhibition and any promotional materials relating to the show is required for inclusion in the project. Artworks displayed in the exhibition will not be offered for individual sale. Due to the nature of the project, I cannot guarantee individual credit to each participant will be displayed alongside submissions, though I will do my best to keep track and credit as possible.

Disclaimer

Not all works submitted are guaranteed to be included in the exhibition. Selections will be made primarily according to available space and adherence to prompt guidelines, as well as at the discretion of the organizing artist. I will do my best to indicate when a prompt is looking for more submissions versus when a prompt has already received a high number of submissions and therefore might be more competitive.

With room to dream, I hope that this exhibition might find home later as a book or a digital archive, in which case there may be more opportunities for featuring of more works than what fit in the show this summer.
